충남 서산시가 지난 2010년 이후 15년 만에 택시 총량 증차를 확정하며 지역 주민의 교통편의 향상에 청신호가 켜졌다.
서산시는 28일, 인구 증가와 도시 확장에도 불구하고 15년간 택시 수가 동결되며 발생한 시민 불편 해소를 위해 총 9대를 증차한다고 공식 발표했다.

이번 증차는 국토교통부의 제5차 택시총량제 지침에 따라 시가 관내 수급 현황을 조사·분석해 산정됐으며, 충남도 택시총량 심의위원회의 최종 승인을 거쳐 확정됐다.
