대구 중구(구청장 류규하)와 전라남도 화순군(군수 구복규)은 29일 화순군청 소회의실에서 양 지자체의 상생발전 및 교류 활성화를 위한 우호교류 협약을 맺었다.
이날 협약식에는 류규하 중구청장, 김동현 중구의회 의장, 송해선 중구 주민자치위원연합회장, 권혁대 중구 새마을회장 등 중구 대표단과 구복규 화순군수, 오형열 화순군의회 의장 등 양 기관 관계자들이 참석했다.
참석자들은 협약서에 서명한 뒤 기념품을 교환하며 앞으로의 협력 의지를 다졌다.
양측은 이번 협약을 통해 문화·관광·예술·체육·교육·행정 등 다양한 분야에서 폭넓은 교류를 추진하기로 했다. 또 민간 차원의 교류 활성화와 공동 발전 프로그램 마련 등 실질적인 협력 방안을 도입한다는 계획이다.
