【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영) 뷰티융합과가 최근 창원시 의창구 한국도로공사에서 열린 ‘2025 다수사상자 구급대응훈련’에 참여해 응급환자의 상처와 화상 등 특수분장을 맡아 훈련 현장 몰입도를 높였다.
이번 훈련은 소방청의 평가 프로그램으로, 전국 소방본부가 동시에 진행했다. 창원 의창소방서는 영진전문대 뷰티융합과에 인력과 장비 지원을 요청했다.
이에 홍정아, 김교등, 신유정 교수와 11명의 학생이 훈련에 참석해 다양한 특수분장 작업을 펼쳤다.
훈련은 다수사상자 35명을 구조하는 가상의 긴급 상황을 설정해 진행됐다. 학생들은 무릎과 발목의 타박상, 2도 화상, 찰과상, 개방성 상처 등 각종 부상을 실제처럼 표현해 훈련 효과를 높였다.
권보경(1학년) 학생은 “틈틈이 특수분장 연습을 해왔는데, 실제 훈련 현장에서 내 전공이 도움이 되어 뿌듯했다”며 “분장 덕분에 훈련이 훨씬 현실감 있게 진행되는 것을 보니 기뻤다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
홍정아 지도교수는 “소방서의 요청에 우리 학생들이 전문성을 살려 지원할 수 있어 의미 있었다”며 “이번 경험이 학생들의 현장 감각과 실무 능력을 키울 좋은 기회가 됐다”고 전했다.

The Beauty Convergence Department of Yeungjin College (President Choi Jae-young) recently participated in the "2025 Multi-Casualty Emergency Response Training" held at the Korea Expressway Corporation in Uichang-gu, Changwon. The training simulated a simulated emergency situation involving the rescue of 35 casualties. The students realistically depicted various injuries, including knee and ankle bruises, second-degree burns, abrasions, and open wounds, enhancing the effectiveness of the training.
Kwon Bo-kyung (first year) said, "I've been practicing special effects makeup in my spare time, and I'm proud that my major helped me during actual training. I was delighted to see the makeup make the training much more realistic."
Professor Hong Jeong-ah said, "It was meaningful that our students were able to apply their expertise to the fire department's request. This experience was a great opportunity for them to develop their field sense and practical skills."
