이재명 대통령이 2일 "한·중 관계를 전면 회복하고 전략적 협력 동반자로서 실용·상생 길로 다시 함께 나아가게 됐다는 점에서 매우 뜻깊다"고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 이날 한·중 관계 관련해 자신의 페이스북에 올린 '한·중, 역사를 넘어 미래를 향해 함께 나아갑니다' 제하 글을 통해 이같이 전했다. 해당 글은 중국어로 병기됐다.

더불어 "(한·중 간) 70조 규모 통화 스와프 계약을 통해 금융 시장·교역 안정성을 높이고 FTA(자유무역협정) 서비스·투자 협상을 가속화 해 경제 협력의 제도적 기반을 탄탄히 다질 계획"이라고 전했다.
이 대통령은 "시 주석이 초대 뜻을 밝히신 만큼 머지않은 시일 내 중국을 찾아 양국이 한층 더 가까운 이웃으로 발전하길 기대한다"며 "11년 만에 국빈으로 한국을 방문해 준 시 주석에 깊은 감사를 전한다"고 덧붙였다.
