‘설화 스타일’이란 독특한 공연 활동을 펼쳐 온 진도 출신 가수 설화가 올가을에도 고향을 찾아 지역 주민과 함께하는 트로트 여행을 이었다.

설화는 전남 장성군의 호수인 장성호 수몰민의 애환을 담은 싱글 앨범 ‘장성호 연가’를 지난 9월 4일 발표했다. 서정적인 가사와 애틋한 멜로디가 특징인 이 곡은 장성 출신의 시인 임춘임 씨의 시(詩)를 노랫말로 삼았다.
설화는 지난 10월 8일엔 ‘장성 가을꽃 축제’에 초청을 받아 무대에 올랐다.
10월 22일부터 3일간 수원 장안구청 앞마당에서 열린 ‘명품 수산물 한마당 큰잔치’에서는 전라남도가 인증한 명품 수산물을 시중가보다 30% 이상 저렴하게 판매했다.
이 행사에 참가한 돔엔터테인먼트 소속 가수인 설화, 전지연, 슈가맘, 임대호 등은 잔치 분위기를 한껏 끌어 올렸다.

설화는 지난달 30일부터 이달 2일까지 열린 ‘2025진도국제무형문화축전’에 참가했다. 전
통무형문화 유산의 국제적 교류를 위한 이 축전의 축하공연 무대엔 송가인, 마이진, 최진
희, 울랄라세션 등 인기 가수들이 올랐다. 진도 출신 설화가 첫 무대를 장식했다.

설화는 지난해 3월, 고향 진도에 애향 정신을 표하며 고향사랑기부금을 기탁한 바 있다.
이처럼 설화는 공연뿐 아니라 기부를 통해서도 고향 사랑을 실천하고 있다.
