【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북 지역에서 올해 대학수학능력시험 응시생이 지난해보다 971명 늘어난 2만 827명으로 집계됐다.
경북교육청은 6일 “2026학년도 수능이 오는 13일, 도내 74개 시험장 825개 시험실에서 진행된다”며 이같이 밝혔다.
응시생 가운데 재학생은 1만 6,553명으로 전체의 79.5%를 차지했다. 이는 지난해보다 884명 증가한 수치다. 졸업생은 3,603명으로 17명 늘었고, 검정고시 등 기타 지원자도 70명 증가한 669명으로 집계됐다. 도 교육청은 “졸업예정자뿐 아니라 검정고시 및 기타 지원자 증가가 전체 응시자 수 확대에 영향을 준 것으로 분석된다”고 설명했다.
지역별 응시 인원은 구미 5,271명, 포항 5,040명, 경산 2,591명, 경주 2,353명, 안동 1,744명, 김천 1,447명, 영주 1,352명, 상주 1,029명 순으로 나타났다.
예비소집은 12일 오후 2시에 진행된다. 재학생과 졸업생은 재학 또는 출신 학교에서, 검정고시 합격자 등 기타 수험생은 원서접수증에 기재된 학교에 참석해야 한다. 이 자리에서는 수험표 교부와 시험장 안내, 유의사항 전달 등이 이뤄지며, 신분증과 접수증 지참이 필수다.

경북교육청은 수능 대비 자체 및 합동 3차 점검을 모두 마쳤으며, 수능 당일에 감독관·경찰·소방 등 5,100여 명을 투입해 안전하고 공정한 시험 운영을 준비했다고 밝혔다.
임종식 교육감은 “수험생들이 안정된 환경에서 최선을 다할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”며 “경북 교육가족 모두가 한마음으로 여러분의 노력을 응원한다”고 말했다.
