보도자료에 따르면, 양측은 경주 APEC 성공에 따른 민간 차원의 한중 교류 강화를 위해 한중 노년세대 교류와 복지ㆍ생활ㆍ건강 산업ㆍ 스포츠 교류 등을 공동 추진하기로 합의했다.
권기식 회장은 "250여만명의 서울시 노인을 대표하는 서울시 노인연합회와 함께 한중 노년세대 교류와 협력을 적극 추진하겠다"고 말했다.
고광선 회장은 "서울시 노인연합회는 한중도시우호협회와 손잡고 한중 노인 교류에 앞장서겠다"고 말했다.
서울시 노인연합회는 25개 서울지역 구 노인회를 거느린 대한노인회 산하 기구이며, 고 회장은 최근 4년 임기의 연임에 성공했다.서울시 노인연합회는 이날 한중도시우호협회 특별지정 사업법인인 코차 코퍼레이션(대표 권완근)과 한중 문화교류 사업을 위한 업무협약도 체결했다.

The Seoul Senior Citizens' Association is an organization under the Korean Senior Citizens' Association, which oversees 25 district senior citizen associations in Seoul. Chairman Ko recently secured a four-year reappointment.
