신용보증기금(신보)이 유니콘 후보군으로 성장 가능성이 높은 혁신 스타트업 5개사를 ‘제14기 혁신아이콘’으로 선정했다고 7일 밝혔다. 인공지능(AI) 기반 기술기업에 전폭적인 보증·성장 지원을 제공해 미래 산업 생태계를 키우겠다는 의지다.
이번에 선정된 기업은 ▲생성형 AI 플랫폼 ‘뤼튼테크놀로지스’ ▲산업용 AI 솔루션 기업 ‘슈퍼브에이아이’ ▲의료 AI 전문기업 ‘에이아이트릭스’ ▲법률 데이터 기반 AI 서비스 ‘엘박스’ ▲LPU 기반 AI 반도체·서버 개발 기업 ‘하이퍼엑셀’ 등 5곳이다. 생활·의료·법률·산업·반도체 전반에서 AI 혁신을 주도하는 기업들이 고르게 이름을 올렸다.
신보는 혁신아이콘 기업에 3년간 최대 200억 원 보증 지원, 최저보증료율(0.5%) 적용, 협약은행 추가 보증료 감면, 해외 진출·컨설팅·홍보 지원 등을 제공한다. 이번 프로그램을 통해 기술 성장 가속도는 물론 국내 유니콘 육성을 위한 실질적 기반 마련이 기대된다.
선정기업 대표들도 의지를 밝혔다. 뤼튼테크놀로지스 이세영 대표는 “AI를 일상 속 가장 먼저 떠올리는 서비스로 키우겠다”고 강조했다. 에이아이트릭스 김광준 대표는 “의료 현장 효율과 신뢰를 높이는 기술을 지속 고도화하겠다”고 말했다. 하이퍼엑셀 김주영 대표는 “한국을 대표하는 AI 반도체 기업으로 도약하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
신보 관계자는 “핵심 기술을 갖춘 기업이 산업별 혁신 생태계를 주도할 수 있도록 적극 지원할 것”이라며, “AI 등 첨단 전략산업 분야 지원을 확대해 정부 정책을 뒷받침하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Credit Guarantee Fund Selects 5 'Innovative Icons'
The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) announced its selection of five innovative startups as the '14th Term Innovative Icons,' signaling its commitment to nurturing high-growth companies with the potential to become future unicorns, particularly those utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
The selected companies, which cover diverse sectors—Generative AI, Industrial AI, Medical AI, Legal AI, and AI Semiconductors—are: Wrtn Technologies, Superb AI, AITRICS, Lawbox (LBox), and Hyper-Xel.
KODIT will provide intensive support to these companies, including a maximum of 20 billion KRW in credit guarantees over three years, application of the lowest guarantee fee rate (0.5%), additional fee reductions from partner banks, and non-financial assistance for overseas expansion, consulting, and promotion.
This initiative is designed to accelerate technological growth and build a concrete foundation for cultivating domestic unicorns, thereby actively supporting the government's policy of bolstering advanced strategic industries.
