【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=(재)포항테크노파크(원장 배영호, 이하 포항TP)는 포항 유망강소기업의 해외 진출과 글로벌 네트워크 강화 지원을 위해 지난 10월 29일부터 31일까지 싱가포르에서 열린 ‘SWITCH(Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology) 2025’에 참가했다고 10일 밝혔다.

‘SWITCH’는 싱가포르 중소기업청이 주최하는 아시아 최대 규모의 기술·혁신 교류 플랫폼으로, 제조, 헬스케어·바이오, 에너지·그린테크, 디지털 산업 등 4대 핵심 분야의 글로벌 스타트업과 투자자, 연구기관, 대기업이 한자리에 모이는 국제 행사다. 글로벌 기술 허브인 싱가포르를 중심으로 신산업 생태계를 확장해 아시아 대표 혁신기술 전시회로 평가받고 있다.
이번 행사에는 포항시 유망강소기업으로 선정된 △㈜노드톡스(스마트 가스 감지기), △㈜투엔(저온 막증류·무동력 유수분리 시스템), △㈜파이어크루(친환경 락토바실러스 미생물·패스트 배양장치), △㈜하이보(3D LiDAR 기반 거리 측정 기술), △디컴포지션㈜(미세·나노플라스틱 검출·제거 솔루션) 등 5개 기업이 참여했다.
참가 기업들은 주요 기술과 제품을 선보이며 현지 바이어 및 투자자와 1:1 상담, 네트워킹, 파트너십 미팅 등을 활발히 진행했다. 그 결과 총 80건의 유효 비즈니스 상담이 이뤄졌으며 상담 규모는 약 32억 원에 달했다. 또한 여러 기업이 후속 협력 논의를 이어가며 실질적인 성과 창출을 추진 중이다.
포항TP는 매년 포항 유망강소기업을 선정해 맞춤형 패키지 지원을 제공하고 있으며, 글로벌 전시회 참가 등 해외 시장 개척 프로그램을 운영해 수출 역량 강화에 힘쓰고 있다.
배영호 포항TP 원장은 “SWITCH는 글로벌 기술과 혁신 네트워크가 모이는 무대로, 기업들이 새로운 시장 기회를 직접 확인하는 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 주요 글로벌 거점을 중심으로 해외 진출 지원을 더욱 강화해 유망강소기업의 성장에 적극 힘을 보탤 것”이라고 말했다.

Pohang Technopark Participates in Singapore's 'SWITCH 2025'… Pohang's Promising Small and Medium Enterprises Target the Global Market
Pohang Technopark (President Bae Young-ho, hereinafter referred to as PohangTP) announced on the 10th that it participated in 'SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology) 2025' held in Singapore from October 29th to 31st to support the overseas expansion and strengthening of global networks of Pohang's promising small and medium enterprises.
'SWITCH' is Asia's largest technology and innovation exchange platform, hosted by the Singapore Small and Medium Enterprises Board. It is an international event that brings together global startups, investors, research institutes, and large corporations in four key sectors: manufacturing, healthcare and bio, energy and green tech, and digital industries. Centered around Singapore, a global technology hub, it is recognized as Asia's leading innovative technology exhibition, expanding the new industry ecosystem.
Five companies, selected as promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pohang, participated in this event: Nodex Co., Ltd. (smart gas detectors), Tuen Co., Ltd. (low-temperature membrane distillation and non-powered oil-water separation systems), Firecrew Co., Ltd. (eco-friendly Lactobacillus microorganism and fast culture devices), Hibo Co., Ltd. (3D LiDAR-based distance measurement technology), and Decomposition Co., Ltd. (micro- and nanoplastic detection and removal solutions).
The participating companies showcased their key technologies and products and actively engaged in one-on-one consultations, networking, and partnership meetings with local buyers and investors. As a result, a total of 80 effective business consultations were held, totaling approximately KRW 3.2 billion. Furthermore, several companies are continuing follow-up discussions and pursuing tangible results.
Pohang Technology Partners (TP) selects promising SMEs in Pohang each year and provides them with customized support packages. It also operates overseas market development programs, including participation in global exhibitions, to strengthen their export capabilities.
Pohang TP President Bae Young-ho said, “SWITCH is a stage where global technology and innovation networks gather, and it was a meaningful opportunity for companies to directly experience new market opportunities.” He added, “We will continue to strengthen our support for overseas expansion, focusing on key global bases, to actively support the growth of promising small and medium-sized enterprises.”
