지난 7일, 단성중학교 풍물부 학생 7명이 단양군청을 찾아 ‘감사의 울림’ 공연을 펼치며 지역사회에 따뜻한 감동을 선사했다.
이번 공연은 풍물부 학생들이 방과후 활동을 통해 갈고닦은 실력을 지역사회와 나누기 위해 직접 기획한 ‘찾아가는 공연’으로 마련됐다.
학생들은 그동안 꾸준한 연습과 각종 대회 참가를 통해 실력을 인정받았으며, 전통문화의 소중함을 배우고 이를 나누는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
이날 군청 현관에 울려 퍼진 힘찬 장단은 군청과 단양보건의료원 직원들에게 위로와 격려의 메시지로 전달됐다.
이어 단양새싹어린이집을 찾아 어린이들에게 우리 전통 풍물의 아름다움과 흥겨움을 알리는 시간도 가졌다.
단성중학교 풍물부 지도교사는 “학생들이 음악으로 감사의 마음을 표현하고, 지역사회에 작은 힘이 되고자 직접 무대를 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 전통문화를 계승하며 지역과 함께 성장하는 청소년으로 자라나길 바란다”고 전했다.
군 관계자는 “청소년들이 전통문화를 통해 나눔과 감사의 마음을 전한 의미 있는 무대였다”며 “지역의 미래인 학생들의 따뜻한 울림이 단양을 더욱 빛나게 했다”고 말했다.
