【브레이크뉴스 안동】박영재 기자=경북문화재단 콘텐츠진흥원(이하 진흥원)과 ㈜픽셀플레넷이 제작 중인 TV애니메이션 ‘강치아일랜드’ 시즌2에 참여할 어린이 성우가 지난 9일 본선 심사를 통해 최종 확정됐다.

㈜픽셀플레넷이 주최하고 리틀보이스가 주관한 이번 어린이 성우 선발대회는 성우를 꿈꾸는 초등학생·중학생을 대상으로 진행됐으며, 예선에는 총 418명이 참가해 높은 관심을 보였다. 예선심사에는 추광호 픽셀플레넷 대표, 김지혜 리틀보이스 대표, 현직 성우 등이 참여해 본선 진출자 22명을 선정했으며, 9일 세종대학교 대공연장에서 최종 심사가 이어졌다.
심사 결과, 대상(경상북도지사상)은 장유하 학생, 최우수상(울릉군수상)은 김해나 학생에게 돌아갔다. 두 학생에게는 ‘강치아일랜드’ 시즌2 성우로 직접 참여할 수 있는 기회가 주어져 미래 성우를 꿈꾸는 어린이들에게 뜻깊은 발판이 될 전망이다.
이종수 진흥원장은 “캐릭터에 생명력을 불어넣는 성우의 역할은 매우 중요하다”며 “이번 대회를 통해 발굴된 어린이 성우들이 만들어낼 새로운 모험 이야기를 기대해 달라”고 말했다. 이어 “‘강치아일랜드’ 시즌2를 통해 새로운 목소리 스타가 탄생할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
한편, 독도와 바다를 지키는 수호마법사로 성장하는 5마리 강치들의 이야기를 담은 ‘강치아일랜드’ 시즌1은 총 13편(편당 11분)으로 제작됐다. 지난 11월 5일 첫 방송을 시작했으며, 매주 수요일 오후 5시 15분 KBS 2TV에서 방영 중이다.

Child Voice Actors for Season 2 of the TV Animation "Sea Lion Island" Announced
The child voice actors for Season 2 of the TV animation "Sea Lion Island," currently being produced by the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation's Content Promotion Agency (hereafter, the Promotion Agency) and Pixel Planet, were finally selected through a preliminary round on the 9th.

Please look forward to the new adventures the child voice actors discovered through this competition will create." He added, "Season 2 of "Gangchi Island" will birth new voice stars."
Meanwhile, Season 1 of "Gangchi Island," which tells the story of five sea lions who grow into guardian magicians protecting Dokdo and the ocean, consists of 13 episodes (each 11 minutes long). The first episode premiered on November 5th and airs every Wednesday at 5:15 PM on KBS 2TV.
