세종시의회,장애인직업재활시설협회와 간담회

세종시의회 행정복지위원회는 10일 세종시장애인직업재활시설협회와의 간담회를 열고, 장애인의 자립과 직업재활 여건 개선을 위한 현장의 목소리를 청취했다.

시의회에 따르면 이날 간담회에는 김현미 위원장을 비롯해 이순열 위원, 세종시장애인직업재활시설협회 소속 시설장, 시 노인장애인과 관계 공무원 등이 참석했다.

이 자리에서 협회 측은 직업재활시설 기능보강사업 예산 편성 ,직업훈련교사 배치 기준 준수 ,기본급·수당 등 통상임금 반영과 같은 3가지 주요 사항을 건의했으며, 시설별 운영 여건과 애로사항을 함께 전달했다.

이에 대해 이순열 위원은 “복지는 단순한 재정의 문제가 아니라, 사회적 가치의 문제”라며, “어려운 재정 여건 속에서도 복지와 관련된 분야에 예산이 먼저 수립되도록 세심히 살펴 예산심의 과정에 적극 반영하겠다”고 말했다.

김현미 위원장은 “장애인직업재활시설은 단순한 복지시설이 아니라 장애인의 자립과 사회참여를 위한 고용 기반”이라며, “오늘 제시된 의견을 의회 차원에서 면밀히 검토하고, 현장 중심적이고 지속가능한 직업재활시설 지원 방안을 모색하겠다”고 강조했다.
