믹타(MIKTA: Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Türkiye, Australia)는 멕시코, 인도네시아, 대한민국, 투르키에, 오트레일리아 등 5개국으로 구성되어 있다. 믹타는 G20 회원국 중 G7 또는 BRICs에 속하지 않으면서 GDP기준 경제 규모 순위 세계 12~18위를 차지하는 중견국으로 구성된 지역 간 협의체로, 민주주의와 평화를 핵심가치로 공유(대한민국 주도, 2013년 9월 결성)하고 있다.

개회사를 시작으로 회의는 대주제 '통합과 공존의 미래를 위한 의회의 포용적 리더십' 아래 ▲국제관계 ▲기후·에너지 ▲사회보장 ▲정치·의회 등 4개 세션으로 진행된다.
이날 우원식 국회의장을 비롯하여 푸안 마하라니 인도네시아 하원의장, 파울리나 루비오 멕시코 하원부의장, 수 라인즈 호주 하원의장, . 메블뤼트 차우쇼을루 튀르키예 국회의원 등이 참석해 각국간의 주요현안들을 발표하며 열띤 토론을 벌렸다.
