[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 12일 진양호 일원에서 공무원 80여명을 대상으로 ‘공무원 환경인식 제고 교육’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 하모하모 생태 트레킹을 주제로 환경문제 해결의 핵심인 교육의 중요성을 되새기고 공무원들의 환경 감수성과 실천의식을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 교육은 환경전문 강사 4명이 참여해 진양호 가족쉼터에서 노을전망 데크로드, 365계단, 진양호 전망대를 잇는 코스로 숲 트레킹과 생태해설, 체험활동을 진행했다.
참가자들은 생태환경 보전의 필요성을 배우고, 진양호의 다양한 식생과 생태자원을 직접 관찰하며 기후위기 대응과 탄소중립 실천의 중요성을 체감했다.
또 자연소재를 활용한 ‘마름부적 만들기’ 체험을 통해 자원순환의 의미를 되새기고, 생활 속 환경실천 방안을 공유하는 시간도 가졌다.
진주시 관계자는 “진양호의 아름다운 생태를 직접 체험한 이번 교육이 공무원들의 환경 감수성을 높이는 계기가 되었길 바란다”고 말했다.
