브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 엔씨소프트는 오는 16일부터 신작 MMORPG(다중접속역할수행게임) ‘아이온2’의 ‘사전 다운로드 및 캐릭터 커스터마이징 이벤트’를 진행한다고 12일 밝혔다.
모든 이용자는 16일 오후 12시부터 18일 23시 59분까지 엔씨 게임 플랫폼 ‘퍼플(PURPLE)’을 통해 아이온2를 미리 설치할 수 있다.
설치를 마친 이용자 16일 오후 2시부터 18일 12시까지 PC에서 사전 캐릭터 커스터마이징 이용이 가능하다. 아이온2는 200가지가 넘는 커스터마이징 항목을 지원해, 캐릭터 제작 과정에서 높은 자유도와 디테일을 경험할 수 있다.
아이온2는 엔씨 대표 IP(지식재산권) ‘아이온’ 시리즈를 정식 계승한 MMORPG 신작이다. ‘아이온의 완전판’을 목표로, △원작 대비 36배 넓어진 월드 △비행과 수영을 통한 자유로운 이동 △후판정 기반 수동 전투 등 각종 시스템을 한 단계 발전시켰다.
이용자는 13일부터 진행되는 ‘지스타(G-STAR) 2025’에서 아이온2를 미리 만나볼 수 있다. 엔씨는 이번 지스타 B2C(기업과 소비자간 거래)관에 300부스 규모로 참가하며, 캐릭터 커스터마이징과 아이온2 대표 던전 중 하나인 ‘우루구구 협곡’ 시연을 준비했다.
