【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 속리산 테마파크 내 조성한 ‘속리산 숲속놀이터’가 준공됐다고 18일 밝혔다.
군에 따르면 속리산 숲속놀이터는 천연림을 보존하며 만든 자연친화형 체험 공간으로 속리산면 갈목리 산18-1번지 일원에 총사업비 10억 원(특교세 5억 원, 군비 5억 원)을 투입해 조성한 사업으로 연면적 390㎡ 규모에 최대 80명이 동시에 이용할 수 있으며 본격 개장은 내년 3월이다.
주요 시설은 △트램폴린 4개소 △볼파크 4개소 △해먹네트존 2개소 △키즈존 △네트트리하우스 △어드벤처코스 등 10여 종으로 아이들이 숲속에서 신체활동과 모험을 즐길 수 있도록 구성돼 있으며, 부모 쉼터, 데크쉼터, 퍼걸러, 게비온 의자 등 편의시설도 함께 마련해 가족 모두가 편안하고 즐겁게 머물 수 있는 공간으로 조성됐다.
군은 이번 시설이 속리산 산림레포츠시설, 스카이바이크, 스카이트레일 등 기존 체험형 콘텐츠와 연계돼 가족형 체류 관광 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
이경숙 속리산휴양사업소장은 “속리산 숲속놀이터는 자연 훼손을 최소화하고 아이들이 숲의 소재와 지형을 탐험하며 뛰어놀 수 있도록 만든 공간”이라며 “내년 본격 운영을 앞두고 동절기 동안 시설 관리 및 안내 체계를 정비해 안전하고 쾌적한 운영이 이뤄지도록 준비하겠다”고 말했다.
