파주시 금촌2동은 2026년 공릉천 튤립축제를 앞두고 진행한 튤립 식재 작업을 지난 14일 내부 인력만으로 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

이번 작업은 지난해보다 체계적인 운영과 조직적 협업이 뒷받침돼 행정 효율성과 현장 대응력이 크게 향상된 것으로 평가된다.
튤립 구근은 11일 행정복지센터로 배송됐으며 즉시 식재 준비가 시작됐다.
이틀간 노인일자리 참여자 50여 명이 투입돼 대량의 구근 껍질을 빠르게 제거했고, 직원들은 이를 공릉천 현장으로 운반했으며 현장에서는 기간제와 공공근로 인력이 곧바로 식재 작업에 착수했다.
특히 금촌2동장을 포함한 내부 인력이 전면에 나서 껍질 제거부터 현장 식재까지 모든 과정을 자체적으로 수행했으며 나흘간 총 8만 개의 튤립 구근을 심는 성과를 거뒀다.
금촌2동은 올해 봄 개화 후 수거한 튤립 구근 2만 개를 재활용해 구근 단가 상승에도 불구하고 식재 면적을 확대했다.
이를 통해 예산 절감과 지속 가능한 축제 기반 마련이라는 두 가지 효과를 동시에 달성했다.
