[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 19일 베트남 껀터시를 방문해 양 도시의 문화예술 교류 확대를 논의하고, 향후 다양한 협력 사업을 추진하기 위한 기본 방향을 함께 모색했다고 밝혔다.
진주시 글로벌 교류단은 ‘2026 아시아 이스포츠 대회’ 준비를 위해 베트남을 방문해 껀터시청에서 쯔엉칸뚜옌 시장 등 관계자와 만나 국제교류 협력 방안과 양 도시의 공동 발전 전략을 심도 있게 논의했다.
조 시장은 껀터시장과의 면담에서 양 도시의 문화·스포츠 교류 방향과 도시별 강점에 대해 의견을 교환하고, 진주시의 농업·농기계·항공산업을 소개하며 해외 마케팅 활동을 적극적으로 펼쳤다.
