【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 오는 21일부터 내년 1월 말까지 옥산로와 원대로 일대, 칠곡3지구 문화예술거리 이태원길에 겨울빛 거리를 조성한다. 연말연시 주민들에게 따뜻한 볼거리를 제공하겠다는 취지다.
올해 빛 거리의 테마는 별빛랜드다. 옥산로부터 남침산네거리까지는 별의 관문, 빛의 은하수 거리, 별빛 파노라마로 구간별 특색을 나눠 구성했다. 북구청 광장에서 북부도서관 네거리 구간에는 대형 크리스마스트리와 눈빛게이트, 눈사람, 사슴썰매 포토존 등 대표 상징물이 설치된다.
북부도서관에서 남침산네거리까지는 양방향 가로수 조명과 스노우볼 로드, 벨 조형물, 윈터월드가 이어지며 거리를 하나의 조명 축제로 연출한다. 오봉폭포 구간은 수목 조명과 은은한 라이트업을 활용해 아늑한 산책 공간이 마련된다.
칠곡3지구 이태원길은 젊음과 예술의 분위기를 반영해 크리스마스트리, 별빛게이트, 산타클로스 조형물 등을 중심으로 감성적인 빛 거리를 연출했다.
올해 조성에는 대구도시개발공사와 iM뱅크가 참여해 민관 협력도 이어졌다.
빛 거리 점등식은 21일 오후 5시 북구청 광장에서, 25일 오후 4시 50분 칠곡3지구 이태원문학관 앞에서 각각 열린다. 뮤지컬 배우 김형석, 문재즈밴드, 부활 4대 보컬 김재희 등의 공연과 즉석네컷, 샌드아트, 라인아트 등 체험 프로그램도 준비됐다. 운영 시간은 매일 일몰 이후부터 오후 10시까지다.
배광식 북구청장은 “올해도 주민들에게 따뜻한 겨울 추억을 선물하고자 정성껏 준비했다”며 “빛 거리가 사랑하는 사람들과 마음을 나누는 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

This year's project involved public-private partnerships, with the Daegu Urban Development Corporation and iM Bank participating.
The lighting ceremony for the street will be held at 5:00 PM on the 21st at the Buk-gu Office Plaza and at 4:50 PM on the 25th in front of the Itaewon Literature Museum in Chilgok District 3. Performances by musical actor Kim Hyung-seok, Moon Jazz Band, and Kim Jae-hee, the fourth vocalist of Boohwal, as well as hands-on programs such as impromptu four-cuts, sand art, and line art are also planned. The street is open daily from sunset to 10:00 PM.
Buk-gu Mayor Bae Gwang-sik said, "This year, we have put our heart and soul into creating warm winter memories for our residents. I hope the street of lights will become a time to share our hearts with loved ones."
