【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구북부도서관(관장 제갈선희)이 청소년 북아지트 개실 1주년을 맞아 오는 21일부터 한달 간 중학생을 대상으로 다양한 기념행사를 연다.
청소년 북아지트는 지난해 12월 20일 문을 연 전국 공공도서관 중 유일한 중학생 전용 공간이다. 학생들이 자유롭게 독서하고, 자기 주도적으로 활동할 수 있도록 마련됐으며, 하루 평균 30명이 넘는 학생들이 이용하고 있다.
이번 1주년을 기념해 준비된 행사는 △북아지트 럭키드로우 △북아지트에게 보내는 축하편지 △몽글몽글 커스텀 폰케이스 체험 등이다. 이 가운데 ‘북아지트 럭키드로우’와 ‘축하편지’ 행사는 중학생 운영위원회인 ‘북크루’가 직접 기획했다.
‘북아지트 럭키드로우’는 졸업을 앞둔 중학교 3학년 학생을 대상으로 진행되며, 간단한 설문에 참여하면 추첨을 통해 선물이 주어진다. ‘축하편지’는 지난 1년간 북아지트에서 보낸 추억을 담아 편지를 제출하면, 추첨을 통해 선물을 받을 수 있다.
12월 21일에는 아크릴 물감을 사용해 나만의 폰케이스를 만들어보는 ‘몽글몽글 커스텀 폰케이스’ 체험도 열린다.
도서관 관계자는 “청소년 북아지트가 학생들이 자기 주도적으로 학습하고 다양한 경험을 쌓는 공간으로 자리 잡길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

Daegu Northern Library (Director Jegal Seon-hee) will celebrate the first anniversary of its Youth Book Ajit with a variety of commemorative events for middle school students for a month, starting on the 21st.

The "Book Ajit Lucky Draw" is open to third-year middle school students about to graduate. Participants who complete a simple survey will be entered into a raffle for prizes. For the "Congratulatory Letter," submit a letter sharing your memories from the past year at Book Ajit and you'll be entered into a raffle to win a prize.
On December 21st, there will also be a "Mongmong Custom Phone Case" experience, where you can create your own phone case using acrylic paint.
Library officials stated, "We hope that Book Ajit for Youth will become a space where students can learn independently and gain diverse experiences."
