【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청이 지난 18일 KB국민은행, 사단법인 작은도서관만드는사람들과 함께 ‘작은도서관 조성사업’ 추진을 위한 업무협약을 맺었다.
이번 협약은 국가등록문화재로 지정된 반야월역사 내 작은도서관을 지역 주민을 위한 문화공간으로 새롭게 단장하기 위해 마련됐다.
동구청은 지난해 신천3동 작은도서관 리모델링에 이은 두 번째 협력 사례를 확보하게 됐다.
협약에 따라 KB국민은행은 리모델링에 필요한 사업비를 지원하고, 작은도서관만드는사람들은 공간 설계와 운영 전반을 맡는다.
주요 협약 내용은 서가 등 비품 지원을 통한 공간 재구성, 도서 확충 및 독서문화 프로그램 제공, 도서관리 프로그램 지원, 전담 인력 확보 등이 포함됐다.
윤석준 동구청장은 "반야월역사 작은도서관이 책과 문화를 매개로 주민이 함께 성장하는 공간으로 자리매김하길 바란다"며 "이번 협약이 지역 문화 기반을 확대하는 의미 있는 계기가 될 것"이라고 말했다.

On the 18th, the Dong-gu District Office in Daegu signed a business agreement with KB Kookmin Bank and the Small Library Makers Association to promote the "Small Library Creation Project."

Key aspects of the agreement include reconfiguring the space through the provision of bookshelves and other supplies, expanding the library's library stock and providing reading culture programs, supporting library management programs, and securing dedicated staff.
Dong-gu District Mayor Yoon Seok-jun said, "I hope that the Banyawol History Small Library will become a space where residents can grow together through books and culture," adding, "I believe this agreement will be a meaningful opportunity to expand the local cultural foundation."
