고양특례시 일산서구보건소는 지난 19일 국민건강보험공단 일산병원과 함께 지역사회 감염병 예방과 환자안전 관리를 강화하기 위한 공공보건의료 협력체계 구축 업무협약을 체결하고 간담회를 열었다.

이번 협약은 고양권 책임의료기관으로 지정된 국민건강보험공단 일산병원이 감염관리 우수기관 벤치마킹 사업을 지역에서 안정적으로 추진하도록 지원하기 위해 마련된 것이다.
일산서구보건소는 관내 기관 연계와 행정적 협력을 맡아 사업 운영을 뒷받침하게 된다.
양 기관은 상호 존중과 신뢰를 바탕으로 지역사회 감염관리 역량을 체계적으로 강화하겠다는 의지를 다졌다.
협약식과 함께 열린 간담회에서는 관내 요양병원과 중소병원을 대상으로 한 향후 감염관리 전문가 방문 컨설팅 계획과 지역사회 협력체계 강화를 위한 역할 분담 등이 집중적으로 논의됐다.
일산서구보건소 관계자는 올해 처음 시행된 감염관리 우수기관 벤치마킹 사업이 내년에 더욱 확대될 예정이라며 보다 많은 기관이 참여해 지역사회 감염관리 수준 향상에 동참하길 바란다고 밝혔다.
시는 앞으로도 지역 의료기관과 협력해 감염병 예방과 관리 역량 강화, 안전한 의료환경 조성을 지속적으로 추진할 방침이다.
