영덕군, ‘2026년 FTA기금 과수 고품질시설 현대화 사업’ 신청 접수

【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군이 지역 과수 농가의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 추진하는 ‘2026년 FTA기금 과수 고품질시설 현대화 사업’ 신청을 오는 12월 10일까지 접수한다고 밝혔다.

2026년 사업에는 국비·지방비·자부담을 포함해 총 11억 9,600만 원이 투입된다. 지원 분야는 △품종 갱신 △관정·배수시설 등 생산 기반 구축 △관수관비 시설 △미세 살수장치 △방풍망 △조류 퇴치기 등 재해예방 시설로 구성돼 있다. 특히 재해예방 시설의 경우 농업재해와의 연관성을 고려해 2024년 12월 31일 이후에 조성된 과원도 신청할 수 있도록 문턱을 낮췄다.

신청 대상은 사과·복숭아·배 과원을 경영하고 있으며, 2024년 12월 31일 이전 조성된 과수 경영체로서 생산유통통합조직에 참여하고 있는 농가다. 관련 조직(농협)에 참여 실적이 없는 농가는 사업 신청 시 출하 약정을 체결하고 올해 수확물을 출하하면 신청이 가능하다.

다만 △농업경영체 미등록 필지 △농업 외 종합소득 3,700만 원 이상 경영체 △최근 3년 내 사업 중도 포기 이력 △최근 5년 내 동일 필지 동일 사업 신청 이력 △대상자 선정 전 시설 선 설치 등은 지원 대상에서 제외된다.

신청은 대경사과원예농협 영덕경제사업장, 영덕농협 우곡간이지점·지품지점, 북영덕농협 창수지점에서 가능하다.

영덕군은 이번 사업에 대한 홍보를 강화해 더 많은 과수 농가가 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 하고, 생산 기반 확충과 생산비 절감을 통해 지역 과수산업의 경쟁력 향상을 지속적으로 지원할 방침이라고 밝혔다.

Yeongdeok County announced that it is accepting applications for the 2026 FTA Funded High-Quality Fruit Facility Modernization Project, which aims to enhance the competitiveness of local fruit farmers, until December 10th.

The 2026 project will receive a total of KRW 1.196 billion, including national, local, and private funding. Support areas include variety renewal, production infrastructure establishment such as wells and drainage facilities, and disaster prevention facilities such as irrigation systems, micro-sprinklers, windbreak nets, and bird repellers. Considering the potential link between disaster prevention facilities and agricultural disasters, the threshold for disaster prevention facilities has been lowered to allow orchards established after December 31, 2024, to apply.

Applicants must be farmers who manage apple, peach, or pear orchards and are part of an integrated production and distribution organization established before December 31, 2024. Farmers without prior experience with a related organization (agricultural cooperative) can apply if they sign a shipment agreement when applying for the program and ship this year's harvest.

However, applicants are excluded from the program if they: 1) have not registered as an agricultural business entity; 2) have a non-agricultural income of more than 37 million won; 3) have abandoned their business within the past three years; 4) have applied for the same business on the same lot within the past five years; or 5) have installed facilities before being selected.

Applications can be made at the Yeongdeok Economic Business Center of Daegyeong Apple Horticultural Cooperative, the Ugok and Jipum branches of Yeongdeok Agricultural Cooperative, and the Changsu branch of Buk Yeongdeok Agricultural Cooperative.

Yeongdeok County announced that it will strengthen publicity for this project to ensure that more fruit farmers can benefit, and will continue to support the enhancement of the competitiveness of the local fruit industry by expanding the production base and reducing production costs.
