한중도시우호협회는 11월22일치 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장이 22일 오전 바터얼(巴特尔) 중국 하이난(海南)성 상무부성장과 한중 지방정부 교류에 대한 회담을 했다”고 알렸다.
이 자료에 따르면, 이 회담은 하이커우(海口)시 소재 장둥신취(江東新區) 소재 힐튼호텔 영빈관에서 조찬을 함께하며 진행됐다. 협회에서는 권 회장과 김두관 전 행안부장관(전 경남지사), 박상희 농어촌희망재단 이사장(전 중소기업중앙회장) 등 협회 고문과 천슈펑(陳秀峰) 화성그룹 회장이 함께 참석했다. 하이난성에서는 바터얼 부성장과 장비인(張斌) 상무청장, 탕화(唐華) 국제경제개발국장, 수치야(苏启雅) 문화관광청 부청장, 황원차오(黄文聪) 공업산업청 부청장, 장슝뱌오(江雄標) 외사판공실 부주임 등이 참석했다.
권기식 회장은 모두 발언에서 "경주 APEC에서 열린 한중 정상회담으로 한중 양국은 신뢰와 협력의 새로운 미래로 가고 있다. 한중 협력의 가장 중요한 부분이 지방정부ㆍ경제ㆍ문화 교류이다. 한중도시우호협회는 하이커우시에 설립된 한ㆍ하이난 기업경제센터를 한ㆍ하이난 상생협력의 플랫폼으로 만들겠다."고 말했다.
바터얼 부성장은 "하이난성은 한국과의 교류와 협력을 매우 중요하게 생각한다"며 "앞으로 한중도시우호협회가 하이난과 한국의 경제ㆍ문화 교류를 위해 노력해주기 바란다"라고 말했다.
김두관 전 장관과 박상희 이사장도 한ㆍ하이난 경제ㆍ문화 협력을 위한 한중도시우호협회의 활동을 지원하겠다고 밝혔다.
양측은 내년 상반기 하이난성에서 대규모 경제ㆍ문화 교류를 추진하는 등 한국과 하이난과의 경제ㆍ문화 교류를 위한 협력과 소통을 이어가기로 했다.

권기식 회장은 이어 이날 오전 하이커우시 행정개발구 소재 화성그룹 본사 광장에서 열린 한중도시우호협회 하이난성 지회 및 한ㆍ하이난 기업경제센터 개소식에 참석해 축사를 했다.
이와함께 차이호란(蔡浩然ㆍ성풍그룹 회장) 하이난성 지회장과 류난시(劉南熙ㆍ화성그룹 해회사업부장) 비서장, 김학철(선차일미차업유한공사 대표) 중국 자문위원 등에게 임명장을 수여했다.
권기식 회장은 "한중도시우호협회 하이난 지회는 중앙회와 협력해 한ㆍ하이난 기업경제센터를 한ㆍ하이난 경제ㆍ문화의 고속도로로 만들어 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
권기식 회장은 이에 앞서 21일 청마이현(澄迈县) 소재 융칭스(永慶寺)와 화성그룹 시멘트 공장 등을 참관하고 하이난성 지회 회의를 주관했다.

In a press release dated November 22nd, the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association announced, "Chairman Kwon Ki-sik met with Hainan Province Vice-Governor of Commerce Ba Te'er on the morning of the 22nd to discuss Korea-China local government exchanges."
According to the release, the meeting took place over breakfast at the Hilton Hotel's guesthouse in the Jiangdong New District of Haikou City. The association's advisors, including Chairman Kwon, former Minister of Public Administration and Security Kim Doo-kwan (former Governor of South Gyeongsang Province), and Park Sang-hee, Chairman of the Rural Hope Foundation (former President of the Korea Federation of SMEs), as well as Hwaseong Group Chairman Chen Xiufeng, attended the meeting. Hainan Province was attended by Vice Governor Batu Er, Director of the Hainan Provincial Office of Commerce Zhang Bin, Director of the International Economic Development Bureau Tang Hua, Deputy Director of the Culture and Tourism Bureau Su Qiya, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Industry Huang Wenchao, and Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office Jiang Xiongbiao.
Chairman Kwon Ki-sik stated in his opening remarks, "The Korea-China Summit held at the Gyeongju APEC Summit is ushering in a new future of trust and cooperation between Korea and China. The most important aspects of Korea-China cooperation are local government, economic, and cultural exchanges. The Korea-China City Friendship Association will make the Korea-Hainan Enterprise and Economic Center established in Haikou a platform for mutually beneficial cooperation between Korea and Hainan."
Deputy Governor Barter said, "Hainan Province places great importance on exchange and cooperation with Korea," and added, "I hope the Korea-China City Friendship Association will continue to work to promote economic and cultural exchanges between Hainan and Korea."
Former Minister Kim Doo-kwan and Chairman Park Sang-hee also expressed their support for the Korea-China City Friendship Association's activities to promote economic and cultural cooperation between Korea and Hainan.
The two sides agreed to continue cooperation and communication for economic and cultural exchanges between Korea and Hainan, including promoting large-scale economic and cultural exchanges in Hainan Province in the first half of next year.
Chairman Kwon Ki-sik then attended the opening ceremony of the Korea-China City Friendship Association Hainan Branch and the Korea-Hainan Business and Economic Center, held at the plaza of the Hwaseong Group headquarters in the Haikou Administrative Development Zone that morning, and delivered a congratulatory address.
Additionally, letters of appointment were presented to Cai Haoran (Chairman of Shengfeng Group), Chairman of the Hainan Branch; Liu Nanxi (Director of the Haihui Business Department of Huasheng Group), Secretary-General; and Kim Hak-cheol (CEO of Sunchailmi Automotive Co., Ltd.), a Chinese advisory committee member.
Chairman Kwon Ki-sik stated, "The Hainan Branch of the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association will work with the Central Association to develop the Korea-Hainan Business and Economic Center into a highway for economic and cultural exchange between the two countries."
Prior to this, on the 21st, Chairman Kwon Ki-sik toured Yongqing Temple and the Huasheng Group cement factory in Chengmai County and presided over a Hainan Branch meeting.
