이재명 대통령이 22일(현지시간) 남아프리카공화국 G20(주요20개국) 정상회의 계기로 나렌드라 모디 인도 총리·루이스 이나시우 룰라 다 시우바 브라질 대통령과 각각 회동했다.
23일(현지시간) 대통령실에 따르면 이 대통령은 전날 오후 요하네스버그 엑스포 센터 정상회의장에서 양 정상과 별도 만남을 가졌다.
모디 총리는 이 대통령에게 "경주 APEC(아시아태평양경제렵력체) 정상회의 성공 개최를 축하한다"며 이 대통령의 인도 방문을 요청했고, 이 대통령은 "인도와 경제·문화·안보 등 다방면에서 협력·인적 교류를 증진하고 싶고 인도를 조속 방문할 수 있길 바란다"고 화답했다.
