세종특별자치시의회가 25일 제102회 정례회 제3차 본회의를 열고 조례안과 추가경정예산안 등 총 59건의 안건을 처리했다.
이날 본회의에서는 최원석·윤지성·이순열·유인호·이현정·여미전 의원 등 6명이 5분 자유발언을 통해 시정 전반에 대한 정책 제안과 개선 방향을 제시했다.
특히 김효숙 의원은 긴급현안질문을 통해 세종시 학생들의 장거리 통학 문제를 짚으며, 통학 여건 개선을 위한 대책 마련을 강력히 요구했다.
이번 회기에서 의결된 주요 안건에는 행정복지위원회 소관 ‘세종특별자치시 읍·면·동 및 리의 관할구역 변경 조례 일부개정안’ 등 24건, 산업건설위원회 소관 ‘세종SB플라자 공유재산 사용료 감면 동의안’ 등 16건, 교육안전위원회 소관 ‘세종시교육청 행정기구 설치 조례 일부개정안’ 등 9건, 그리고 예산결산특별위원회 소관 ‘2025년도 세종시 제3회 추가경정예산안’ 등 3건이 포함됐다.
또한 세종시 주요 공공기관인 시설관리공단, 세종도시교통공사, 세종일자리경제진흥원, 문화관광재단, 세종로컬푸드㈜의 임원추천위원회 위원도 이날 본회의에서 추천됐다.
한편 세종시의회는 오는 12월 15일 제4차 본회의를 열어 2025년도 예산안과 기금운용계획안을 최종 의결하며 올해 회기를 마무리할 예정이다. 임채성 의장은 “오늘 처리된 조례와 예산이 시민 삶의 질 향상으로 이어질 수 있도록 집행부와 긴밀히 협력하겠다”고 말했다.
