충남 태안군의회가 25일 제316회 제2차 정례회 제1차 본회의를 열고, 올해 마지막 회기 일정에 들어갔다.
이번 정례회는 오는 12월 11일까지 17일간 진행되며, 2026년도 본예산안과 2025년도 제4회 추가경정예산안을 비롯해 조례안과 공유재산 관리계획안 등 군민 생활과 직결된 핵심 안건들이 집중 심의된다.
태안군의회는 26일 열리는 조례심사특별위원회(위원장 김기두 의원)에서 의원 발의 조례 5건을 포함한 총 19건의 조례안을 다룬다.
주요 안건은 ‘태안군 실내공기질 관리 조례안’(김기두 의원 대표발의), ‘문화예술 활성화를 위한 후원 및 유휴공간 지원 조례안’(김영인 의원 대표발의), ‘어선 및 어선원 안전사고 예방 조례안’(김진권 의원 대표발의), ‘낙뢰피해 방지시설 설치 및 지원 조례안’(박용성 부의장 대표발의) 등이다.
이어 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 김진권 의원)는 27일부터 12월 1일까지 제4회 추경예산안과 각종 동의안을 심사하며, 2일 제2차 본회의에서 결과를 보고한다.
이어 3일부터 10일까지는 2026년도 본예산 및 기금운용계획안 심사에 들어가, 내년도 7797억 원 규모의 예산이 군민 삶의 질 향상과 지역경제 활성화에 어떻게 반영됐는지를 세밀히 검토할 계획이다.
특히 내년도 예산은 올해보다 456억 원 증가한 수준으로, 재정 운용 방향에 대한 군의회의 면밀한 점검이 예상된다.
개회식에서 전재옥 의장은 “제9대 태안군의회는 올해 ‘열린의정, 군민이 행복한 태안’을 목표로 행정사무감사와 현장활동을 통해 군정의 감시와 견제, 주요 현안 해결에 힘써왔다”며 “작은 정성과 관심이 모여 따뜻한 공동체를 만든다는 마음으로, 군민과 함께하는 의정활동을 지속하겠다”고 밝혔다.
전 의장은 이어 “다가오는 2026년 병오년 새해에는 군민 곁에서 뛰는 현장 중심 의회를 더욱 확고히 하겠다”며 “군민의 행복과 지역 발전을 위해 낮은 자세로 가까이에서 목소리를 듣는 태안군의회를 만들어 가겠다”고 덧붙였다.

The Taean County Council in South Chungcheong Province held the first plenary session of its 316th regular session, the 2nd Session, on the 25th, marking the start of the final session of the year.
