파주시 두마보건진료소가 보건복지부가 주최한 '2025년 보건진료소 운영 성과대회'에서 건강증진사업 분야 우수기관으로 선정됐다.
파주시는 26일 이 같은 소식을 전하며, 이는 작년 어유지보건진료소 수상에 이어 2년 연속 우수상을 받는 값진 성과라고 밝혔다.

이번 성과대회는 의료취약지역의 보건의료 환경 변화에 대응하고, 전국 1,895개 보건진료소의 우수사례를 발굴·확산하기 위해 매년 개최되고 있다.
일차의료 및 건강증진사업 등 고유 업무에서 뛰어난 성과를 낸 기관을 선정해 보건진료소의 기능 강화와 역할 재정립을 도모하는 것이 목적이다.
두마보건진료소는 올해 '우리마을건강충전소 특화사업'을 통해 마음건강이 취약한 고령층을 위한 자살예방 프로그램 '너도 나도 소중해'를 운영하며 심사위원들로부터 높은 평가를 받았다.
이 프로그램은 두마, 백연, 어유지, 영장보건진료소가 공동으로 운영했으며, 총 53명을 대상으로 48회에 걸쳐 진행됐다.
단축형 노인우울척도(SGDS-K), 자살행동척도(SBQ-R), 자살예방인식도 검사 등 과학적 검사 도구를 활용한 사전·사후 설문을 실시했다.
특히 우울감 완화를 위한 신체활동, 고립감 예방을 위한 공동체 형성 활동, 생명존중 교육 등 다양한 프로그램 구성으로 의료취약지역 주민 특성을 반영해 건강 문제 해결을 모색한 점에서 좋은 평가를 받았다.
현재 파주시에는 두마, 백연, 웅담, 어유지, 영장, 문지, 야당 등 7곳에 보건진료소가 설치돼 있다.
보건진료소는 의사 배치가 어려운 지역에 보건진료 전담 공무원을 배치해 경미한 의료행위와 건강증진사업을 수행하는 공공의료기관이다.
이한상 파주보건소장은 "이번 수상은 건강한 지역사회를 만들기 위해 주민 여러분이 함께 힘을 모아주신 결과"라며 "앞으로도 주민 건강을 최우선으로 하는 보건소가 되도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

The goal is to select institutions that have demonstrated outstanding performance in their core functions, such as primary care and health promotion, and to strengthen the functions and redefine the roles of public health clinics.
This year, the Duma Health Clinic received high praise from the judges for its suicide prevention program, "You and I Are Precious," aimed at vulnerable seniors through the "Our Village Health Recharge Center Specialized Project."
This program, jointly operated by the Duma, Baekyeon, Eoyuji, and Yeongjang Health Clinics, was administered to a total of 53 individuals over 48 sessions.
Pre- and post-surveys were conducted using scientific tools such as the Short Form Geriatric Depression Scale (SGDS-K), the Suicidal Behavior Questionnaire (SBQ-R), and the Suicide Prevention Awareness Test.
The program received positive reviews for its diverse program structure, which included physical activity to alleviate depression, community-building activities to prevent isolation, and life-respect education, reflecting the unique characteristics of residents in medically underserved areas and addressing health issues.
Currently, there are seven health clinics in Paju City: Duma, Baekyeon, Ungdam, Eoyuji, Yeongjang, Munji, and Yadang.
Public health centers are public medical institutions that deploy dedicated public health workers to areas where doctors are difficult to locate, providing minor medical services and health promotion programs.
