【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(이사장 배광식)이 연말을 맞아 관내 도서관에서 다채로운 문화행사를 준비했다.
재단이 운영하는 구수산·대현·태전·서변숲도서관과 작은도서관 4곳에서는 전시, 강연, 공연, 이벤트 등 다양한 프로그램이 펼쳐질 예정이다.
재단 측은 “도서관별로 특색 있는 연말 행사를 마련해, 지역주민들이 따뜻한 문화 경험으로 올 한 해를 마무리할 수 있도록 했다”고 밝혔다.
구수산도서관은 이달 3일부터 1층 로비에서 소원카드 쓰기 이벤트 ‘소원을 이루는 완벽한 방법’을 연다. 소원카드를 작성한 참여자 중 10명을 뽑아 희망도서도 증정할 계획이다. 13일에는 그림책 작가 4명이 참가하는 ‘구수산 이야기 세상’이 2층 구수산홀에서 열린다. 북토크, 체험 프로그램, 인형극 공연이 함께 이어질 예정이다. 20일에는 가족 단위 방문객을 위한 크리스마스 특집 공연 ‘가족과 함께 해피 크리스마스’가 마련된다. 매직쇼와 코믹 저글링 무대가 펼쳐져 관람객들의 기대를 모은다. 이밖에도 힐링 인문학 강연, 생태 강연, 지역 예술단체 화사랑의 전시 등 다양한 프로그램이 준비돼 있다.
대현도서관은 17일 오후 2시 성인 대상 ‘마마스파워와 함께하는 아이와 그림책 읽기’ 프로그램을 진행한다. 영어 그림책을 활용하는 방법도 소개된다. 이어 20일에는 어린이를 위한 크리스마스 인형극 ‘북풍마녀와 루돌프사슴코’ 공연이, 24일 오후 7시에는 첼로·플루트·바순 3중주 ‘오페라로 물드는 겨울밤’ 음악회가 차례로 펼쳐진다. 12월 한 달 동안 도서 대출 이벤트와 겨울 독서 추천 챌린지 행사도 진행된다.
태전도서관에서는 유아·초등학생을 대상으로 ‘김규정 작가와의 만남’, ‘아우야요 작가와의 만남’ 등 그림책 읽기와 창작 체험 활동을 준비했다. 27일에는 해설이 곁들여지는 현악4중주 공연 ‘도서관에서 만나는 힐링음악회’를 선보이고, 겨울나무를 양말목 공예로 꾸미는 ‘나무에게 따뜻함을 선물해요’ 등 다양한 체험도 가능하다. 펀치니들 공예 체험과 올 한 해를 빛낸 행사 선택 프로그램도 마련됐다.
올해 문을 연 서변숲도서관은 첫 연말을 특별하게 맞이한다. 2일부터 크리스마스 포토존 ‘서변숲의 첫 X-mas!’를, 9일부터는 도서 대출 및 소원카드 작성 시 기념품을 증정하는 ‘해피 메리 북리스마스’ 이벤트를 진행한다. 20일에는 ‘한유진 작가와의 만남’과 계단서가에서 열리는 연말 샌드아트 공연, 야간 인문학 강연, 손뜨개 트리니팅 특강 등 다양한 행사가 이어진다.
작은도서관 네 곳(북구영어·서변동·침산1동·한강공원부키)에서도 1일부터 ‘12월 테마도서 전시’와 ‘새해 소망 트리 만들기’가 펼쳐진다. 침산1동 작은도서관에서는 ‘캘리그라피 크리스마스 액자 만들기’(1일), 서변동 작은도서관은 ‘스컬프처 페인팅 트리 만들기’(9일), 북구영어작은도서관에서는 ‘스노우볼 만들기’(12일) 프로그램이 운영된다. 15일에는 구수산도서관 북카페에서 독서 프로그램 작품 전시와 페이스페인팅 행사도 진행된다.
도서관 관계자는 “연말을 맞아 준비한 다양한 프로그램들을 통해 지역주민들이 2025년을 돌아보고, 새로운 마음으로 새해를 맞이하길 바란다”고 전했다.

Following this, a children's Christmas puppet show, "The North Wind Witch and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," will be performed on the 20th, followed by a concert featuring a cello, flute, and bassoon trio, "A Winter Night Colored with Opera," on the 24th at 7 PM. Book lending events and a winter reading recommendation challenge will also be held throughout December.
Taejeon Library has prepared picture book reading and creative writing activities for children and elementary school students, including "Meeting with Author Kim Gyu-jeong" and "Meeting with Author Awooyayo." On the 27th, a string quartet performance with commentary, "Healing Music at the Library," will be presented. Various activities will also be offered, including decorating a winter tree with sock-mold crafts, "Gift a Tree Warmth." Punch needle crafts and a selection of events highlighting this year's highlights will also be offered.
The Seobyeon Forest Library, which opened this year, will celebrate its first year-end with a special touch. Starting on the 2nd, the library will host the Christmas photo zone, "Seobyeon Forest's First X-mas!" Library officials stated, "We hope that through the various year-end programs we've prepared, local residents will reflect on 2025 and welcome the new year with renewed spirit."
