경기도고양교육지원청이 학생 주도형 교육의 새로운 모델을 제시하며 주목받고 있다.
학생들이 교육의 수혜자가 아닌 기획자로 나서 직접 프로그램을 설계하는 혁신적인 시도가 성공적으로 진행됐다.
고양교육지원청은 지난 26일 고양공유학교 삼송캠퍼스에서 '성과로 잇는 내일, 2025 고양 다잇다 공유학교 기획워크숍'을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 워크숍에는 고양 다잇다 공유학교의 공유멘토와 초·중·고 학생 및 학교 밖 청소년 약 100여 명이 참여해 2026년 경기공유학교 프로그램을 함께 구상했다.
단순히 의견을 듣는 수준을 넘어, 학생들이 프로그램의 전 과정을 직접 기획하는 본격적인 협력의 장이 마련된 것이다.
학생들은 사전 신청 시 제출한 관심 주제를 중심으로 그룹을 구성했다.
각 그룹에는 공유멘토가 배정되어 학생들과 함께 프로그램 주제를 구체화하고 배움을 설계하는 과정을 진행했다.
워크숍은 2025년 운영된 고양 다잇다 공유학교의 성과를 돌아보는 것으로 시작됐다.
이어 소그룹별로 희망 프로그램 주제, 학습 방법, 차시별 활동 등을 구체화하는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 문화, 예술, 수리과학, AI 등 다양한 영역에서 학생들의 수요와 창의성을 반영한 프로젝트 제안이 다수 도출됐다.
학생들이 직접 작성한 기획안은 2026학년도 공유학교 운영계획에 실제로 반영될 예정이어서 학생들의 참여 의욕을 더욱 높였다.
이현숙 교육장은 "학생이 직접 기획하고 참여하는 이번 워크숍은 미래교육의 핵심 가치인 학생 주도성을 실천하는 의미 있는 과정"이라고 평가했다.
이어 "교육지원청은 지역 교육자원과의 협력을 강화하여 학생이 원하는 교육활동이 실질적으로 실현될 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 강조했다.
이번 워크숍은 학생들을 교육의 단순 수혜자가 아닌 능동적 기획자이자 주체로 세운다는 점에서 학생 중심 교육의 새로운 방향을 제시했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
