김해시, 지역 인재의 ‘따뜻한 보일러’...귀뚜라미그룹 장학금 1억 원 수여

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 28일 시청 대회의실에서 귀뚜라미그룹(회장 최진민)과 함께 2025년 장학금 수여식을 개최하며 지역 인재 육성에 힘을 실었다. 

이날 수여식에는 장학생과 학부모, 교육기관 관계자 등 90여 명이 참석한 가운데, 중·고·대학생 총 74명에게 1억 원의 장학금을 전달했다.

귀뚜라미그룹은 장학금 지급 대상을 저소득층, 모범 추천 학생뿐만 아니라 체육특기생, 기술 우수 학생 등 다양한 기준으로 선발해, 학업 성적을 넘어선 폭넓은 분야의 인재를 격려했다.

최진민 회장이 1985년 설립한 귀뚜라미문화재단의 40년 전통이 담긴 사회공헌 활동으로, 재단은 설립 이래 현재까지 5만 5천 명의 학생에게 총 359억 원 규모의 장학금을 지원하며 '나눔 경영'을 실천해왔다.
