세종특별자치시교육청(교육감 권한대행 구연희 부교육감)이 오는 12월 1일과 8일 ‘2025년 중등 교육과정 운영 결과 공유회’를 열고 중·고등학교 교육과정의 운영성과와 향후 발전 방향을 논의한다.
이번 공유회는 세종형 교육과정의 핵심인 중학교 ‘나다움성장교육과정’과 고등학교 ‘미래지음교육과정’의 추진 결과를 점검하고, 2026학년도 교육현장에 대한 실천적 보완책을 마련하기 위해 개최된다.
‘나다움성장교육과정’은 학생이 자기주도적으로 배우고 성장하는 중학교 교육과정으로, ‘자유학기–학습·탐구집중학년–진로집중학기–고교 진학’으로 이어지는 연계형 맞춤 교육체계를 지향한다.
오는 12월 1일 열리는 중학교 공유회에서는 28개 교의 우수 사례가 소개된다. 자유학기 활동, 자율탐구, 읍·면지역 특색 교육과정, 학교자율시간 운영 등 학교별 혁신 사례를 공유하고, 학교 간 협력·연대 방안을 함께 모색할 예정이다.
이어 12월 8일에는 고등학교 ‘미래지음교육과정’ 운영 결과 공유회가 열린다. ‘미래지음교육과정’은 고교학점제 전면 시행에 대비해 학생이 자신의 진로를 중심으로 학업을 설계하는 데 초점을 맞춘 세종형 고교과정이다.
현장의 운영 어려움을 해소하기 위한 사례 공유 중심으로, 관내 고교 교감 및 업무 담당자들이 참여해 진로·학업 설계 지도 사례, 공강시간 활용 등 학사운영 개선 사례를 논의할 예정이다.
세종시교육청은 이번 두 차례 공유회를 통해 교육공동체 간 상호 학습과 사례 공유를 활성화하고, 현장 중심의 교육과정 지원체계를 강화할 계획이다.
이석 중등교육과장은 “중등교육과정 공유회는 2022 개정 교육과정과 고교학점제가 학교 현장에 안정적으로 자리 잡는 중요한 과정”이라며 “모든 학생이 자신의 목표와 진로에 맞는 교육과정을 경험할 수 있도록 행정·재정 지원을 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
