브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 준강제추행 혐의로 피소된 장경태 더불어민주당 의원이 고소인 인터뷰가 공개되자 “대본에 따라 연출된 듯한 녹화 인터뷰”라며 강하게 반발했다.
장 의원은 4일 자신의 페이스북에서 “진실은 안중에도 없고 정치인 장경태를 음해하려는 의도가 다분한 표적 보도”라며 “흔들리지 않겠다. 반드시 무고를 밝혀내겠다”고 밝혔다.
앞서 고소인 A씨는 TV조선 인터뷰에서 “국정감사 기간 비서관들의 술자리에 장 의원이 합류했고, 제가 취해 몸을 잘 가누지 못하는 상황에서 신체 여러 곳을 추행당했다”며 “신체 접촉은 분명히 있었다”고 주장했다.
A씨는 당시 장면을 목격한 전 남자친구가 영상을 촬영했다고 밝히며 “고소장 제출 전 함께 있던 동료 비서관들에게도 사실 확인을 받았다”고 말했다. 또한 당시 영상에는 자신이 “안 돼요”라고 말하는 음성이 녹음돼 있다고 덧붙였다.
A씨는 사건 발생 1년 만에 고소한 배경에 대해선 “당시 남자친구의 신상 불이익을 언급하는 말이 있어 고소를 하지 못했다”며 “국회의원을 상대로 고소하는 것이 너무 무서웠다”고 설명했다.
이어 “최근 그 자리에 있던 선임비서관에게 성폭력을 당했는데, 그가 장경태 의원 사건까지 모두 제가 술을 마셔 문제를 일으킨 것 때문이라고 비난했다”며 “추가 피해를 막기 위해 고소를 결심했다”고 말했다.
그러나 장경태 의원은 앞서 기자회견에서 “이번 사건의 본질은 데이트 폭력”이라고 주장하면서 “허위, 무고에 대해 강력 대응하겠다. 전혀 사실이 아닌 허위 무고와 관련, 음해에 대해 법적 조치를 포함해 강력 대응하겠다”고 입장을 밝혔다.
이에 대해 A씨는 “전혀 사실이 아니다”라며 “제가 다음 날 숙취로 출근하지 못한 것을 마치 감금·폭행을 당한 것처럼 주장하는데, 그게 오히려 무고 아닌가 싶다”고 반박했다. A씨는 장 의원의 무고 맞고소에 관해 “전형적인 2차 가해”라며 “장 의원은 과거 무고죄를 ‘꽃뱀론’이라고 비판했는데 왜 제게만 다른 잣대를 적용하느냐”고 지적했다.
한편 현재 A씨는 지난해 10월 서울 여의도 식당에서 장 의원이 자신을 추행했다고 주장하고 있으며, 장 의원은 이를 전면 부인하면서 A씨를 무고 혐의로 고소한 상태다. 장 의원은 또한 사건 당시 A씨의 전 남자친구 B씨에게도 무고·폭행·통신비밀보호법 위반 혐의 등으로 함께 고소·고발한 상태다.
