미디어 환경이 전례 없는 속도로 변화하는 현시대, 언론인이 지녀야 할 본질적 역할을 다시 성찰하는 자리가 마련됐다.

이창호 대한기자신문 발행인은 8일 오후 4시, 영진사이버대학교 서울학습관에서 GK뉴스온(선종복 발행인·전 교육장) 신입기자들을 대상으로 ‘미래형 기자의 기본기와 윤리, AI 시대의 기사 작성법’을 주제로 심도 있는 특강을 진행했다.
이번 강의는 단순한 기술적 교육을 넘어, ‘기자로서의 태도’와 언론 직업윤리의 근본을 재확인하는 가치 중심의 프로그램으로 구성됐다.

이 발행인은 “AI가 기사 작성의 일부를 대신하는 시대일수록, 기자 개인이 갖춘
질문력·해석력·현장력의 비중은 더욱 커진다”고 지적하며, 기술 발전 속에서도 변하지 않는 인간 기자의 역할을 강조했다.

On the 8th at 4:00 PM, Lee Chang-ho, publisher of The Korea Journalists, gave an in-depth special lecture on "The Fundamentals and Ethics of a Future Journalist: Writing Articles in the AI Era" to new reporters at GK NewsOn (publisher and former director of education) at the Seoul Learning Center of Youngjin Cyber University.

Publisher Lee emphasized the unchanging role of human journalists, noting, "As AI takes over some of the writing tasks, the importance of individual journalists' questioning, interpretation, and field experience increases."
He specifically stated, "An honest perspective that diligently verifies facts is the ultimate bastion of trust in the media," and clearly outlined the foundations that new journalists must first establish: ethics and truthfulness.
He then shared specific practical experience gained in the field, focusing on cases from his own reporting, such as the principles of headline composition, sentence pacing, and methods for extracting key interview key points.
Publisher Lee emphasized, "A single line in an article can sometimes shake up an individual's life," and emphasized that the responsibility required in the process of reporting and coverage extends beyond simple job performance to a social mission.
He also said, "New reporters must learn to choose accuracy over speed and balance over exaggeration," adding that restoring trust in the media ecosystem ultimately comes from the reporter's own reflection.
