브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 김건희 특검팀이 통일교 측에서 더불어민주당 정치인에게 금품을 전달했다는 진술을 확보한 것과 관련, 민주당 내부에서도 “당 차원의 철저한 조사”를 요구하는 목소리가 나왔다.
박지원 더불어민주당 의원은 8일 페이스북에 “이재명 대통령께서 정교분리 원칙을 강조하며 해체까지 언급하신 뜻을 이제 알 것 같다”고 적으며 통일교 관련 의혹에 대한 강경 대응 필요성을 언급했다.
박 의원은 특히 “오동잎 떨어지면 가을이 온 것을 알아야 한다”며 “공격이 최대의 방어다. 민주당에도 통일교의 검은 손이 들어왔다면 파헤쳐야 한다”고 밝혔다.
그는 “이재명 정부는 깨끗하다”면서 이번 의혹이 향후 큰 정치적 이슈로 확대될 것이라고 전망했다.
한편, 민중기 특별검사가 이끄는 김건희 여사 특검팀은 8일 정례 브리핑을 통해 통일교가 더불어민주당 정치인들에게 금품을 제공했다는 진술을 윤영호 전 통일교 세계본부장으로부터 받아냈다.
