학교에 따르면 이번 행사는 지난 8일 오후 3시 30분부터 캠퍼스 내 용맹로 시계탑 앞에서 진행됐으며, 류완하 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 총장을 비롯한 교무위원들이 현장을 찾아 학생들에게 직접 간식을 전달했다. 이날 준비된 붕어빵과 음료수는 총 800여 명의 학생들에게 제공됐다.
류완하 총장은 “기말고사 준비로 지친 학생들에게 작은 위로와 응원이 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 즐거운 캠퍼스 문화를 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
행사에 참여한 정보경영학전공 2학년 전정현 학생은 “친구들과 간식을 나누며 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있어 좋았다”며 “이런 소통형 이벤트가 앞으로도 지속되었으면 한다”고 소감을 전했다.
이번 행사는 시험 기간 스트레스 완화를 위한 학생 지원 프로그램의 일환으로 진행됐으며, 캠퍼스 분위기 활성화에 기여했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
