브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 9일부터 전국 KT 매장 및 공식 온라인몰 KT닷컴에서 ‘폼폼푸린 키즈폰’의 사전 예약을 시작한다고 밝혔다. 이 상품의 공식 출시는 오는 12일이다.
폼폼푸린 키즈폰은 ‘폼폼푸린’ 테마가 적용된 삼성전자 ‘갤럭시 A17 LTE’와 활용도가 높은 악세서리로 구성됐다. KT닷컴에서 폼폼푸린 키즈폰을 예약한 고객에게 라벨 프린터기가 제공된다.
키즈폰을 사용하는 만 12세 이하 어린이 고객은 음성과 문자를 자유롭게 사용 가능한 KT 주니어 전용 요금제 2종을 가입할 수 있다. 부모가 10만 원 이상의 요금제를 사용하고, 자녀가 주니어 전용 요금제를 선택할 경우 ‘우리아이할인’으로 월 8800원 추가로 할인 혜택을 받는다.
또한, 주니어 전용 요금제에 가입한 고객은 ‘KT 안심박스(월 3300원)’를 무료로 이용할 수 있다. KT 안심박스는 부모가 스마트폰 앱을 통해 자녀 위치를 실시간 확인하고 유해 사이트 차단하며, 앱 사용량 관리를 비롯해 자녀가 학업에 집중할 수 있도록 일시적으로 스마트폰의 최소 기능만 허용하는 ‘열공모드’ 기능을 제공하는 부가 서비스다.
