[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 연말연시 소외 이웃의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 책임질 '사랑의 김장 나눔 대장정'을 마무리했다. 시는 지난달 21일 활천동을 시작으로 9일 북부동까지 19개 전 읍면동에서 릴레이로 진행된 김장 나눔 행사를 통해 총 1만 4,307상자(상자당 3kg)의 김치를 담가 1만 3,286세대에 전달했다고 밝혔다.
매년 김해시의 대표적인 연말 나눔 행사로 자리 잡은 이번 김장 나눔은 경남사회복지공동모금회와 BNK경남은행이 변함없이 후원하며 나눔 실천의 든든한 기반이 됐다. 기업과 지자체, 시민 사회가 함께 힘을 모아 지역사회에 온기를 불어넣는 모범적인 사례로 평가받고 있다.
