필자는 지난 1997년 언론사=(주)펜 그리고 자유를 창립하면서 부근에 둥지를 틀었다. 그 이유는 서울역-평양역 간 자유로운 소통이 가능해질 때 평양에 진출하기 위해서 였다, 그러나 이직까지 그 뜻을 이루지 못하고 있다. 이런 연고로, 서울역 주변에서 맴돈다.
그런데, 서울역은 미래의 동아시아 심장이다. 1953년 분단 이후, 남북 분단으로 인해, 서울역은 동아시아의 중심역 지위를 잃었다. 그러나 이후, 남북한의 자유소통이 가능하게 된다면, 서울역은 동아시아의 첨단-인터넷 최(最) 선진 중심역으로 변환될 것.
