【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 구수산도서관이 겨울방학을 앞두고 물속 생태계를 주제로 한 특별 강연을 마련한다.
행복북구문화재단 산하 구수산도서관은 국립생태원과 함께하는 생태특강 ‘개울 속에 누가 살고 있을까? 물속 곤충 탐험’을 오는 27일 구수산홀에서 연다고 밝혔다.
참가 신청은 지난 9일 오전 10시부터 구수산도서관 홈페이지에서 받고 있으며, 초등학생부터 성인까지 총 130명을 대상으로 진행된다.
이번 강연은 국립생태원과의 협력으로 진행되는 ‘박사님이 들려주는 생태 이야기’ 시리즈의 일환이다. 연사로 나서는 박영준 국립생태원 외래생물팀 연구원은 우리 주변에서 흔히 마주치지만 잘 알지 못하는 하루살이, 모기, 잠자리 등 다양한 수서곤충의 생태와 특징, 물속에서 살아가는 방식을 흥미롭게 전달할 예정이다.
강연 전에는 미니 음악회도 함께 열려 참가자들은 문화 감상과 생태 교육을 한자리에서 누릴 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
도서관 관계자는 “이번 특강을 통해 물속 생태계의 다양성을 이해하고 자연을 바라보는 감수성을 키울 수 있기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 어린이와 시민 모두가 자연을 더욱 친근하게 느낄 수 있도록 다양한 생태 프로그램을 운영하겠다”고 말했다.

This lecture is part of the "Ecological Stories Told by Doctors" series, conducted in collaboration with the National Institute of Ecology. Park Young-jun, a researcher at the Invasive Species Team at the National Institute of Ecology, will provide an engaging overview of the ecology and characteristics of a variety of aquatic insects, including mayflies, mosquitoes, and dragonflies, which we commonly encounter but rarely know about. He will also share their experiences in the water.
A mini concert will precede the lecture, providing participants with a chance to experience both cultural appreciation and ecological education.
