【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청은 10일 대구교육대학교에서 ‘IB 초등학교 프로그램(PYP) 연구회 성과 나눔 보고회’를 개최하고, 지난 1년간의 교수·학습 혁신 사례와 연구 성과를 나눴다.
이번 보고회는 IB 프로그램에 대한 현장 이해도를 높이고 학교의 실행력을 높이기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에는 연구회원과 관내 초등학교 교원, 교육전문직 등 200여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
이날 보고회에서는 IB PYP 연구회 소속 11개 팀이 ▲개념 기반 탐구 수업 적용 사례 ▲2022 개정 교육과정 연계 연구 ▲학습 접근 방법(ATL) 지도 전략 등 실제 현장에서 진행한 다양한 실천 경험을 발표했다. 수업 설계, 교육과정 조직, 평가 운영 등 학교 현장에서 직접 실행한 사례들도 구체적으로 소개됐다.
또한, 발표를 마친 뒤에는 연구 자료 공유와 질의응답, 토의 시간도 이어졌다. 참석자들은 IB 기반 수업 설계와 교수·학습 운영 방안 등에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
강은희 교육감은 “교사들이 쌓아온 탐구 중심 수업의 성과는 대구 교육의 미래를 준비하는 소중한 자산”이라며 “자발적인 연구와 실천이 학교 현장에 안정적으로 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On the 10th, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education held a "IB Elementary Program (PYP) Research Group Performance Report" at Daegu National University of Education. The report shared teaching and learning innovation cases and research findings from the past year.

Superintendent Kang Eun-hee stated, “The achievements of inquiry-centered classes that teachers have accumulated are valuable assets that will prepare the future of education in Daegu,” and added, “We will actively support voluntary research and practice so that they can take root in schools.”
