포항시 해병대 전우회, 13일 ‘2025 해병대 가족의 밤’ 개최

【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시 해병대 전우회(회장 고한중)는 오는 13일 오후 6시 포항 만인당에서 ‘2025년 포항시 해병대 가족의 밤’ 행사를 개최한다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 한 해 동안 지역사회에서 봉사활동을 펼친 전우회원의 노고를 격려하기 위해 마련됐으며, 포항시장과 국회의원, 시·도 의원, 유관 기관장, 역대 회장, 전우회원 등 약 1500명이 참석할 예정이다. 행사에서는 감사패·표창장 수여식과 축하공연 등 공식·부대행사가 진행된다.

포항시 해병대 전우회는 해병대 1사단 지원, 해병대입영문화제 및 수료식 지원, 해병대문화제 참여, 포항불빛축제 안전·질서 관리, 인명구조 활동 등 지역 행사와 현장에서 다양한 봉사활동을 이어왔다.

고한중 회장은 “지역 보훈단체와 선배들께 감사드린다”며 “전우회의 역할을 점검해 모군과 지역사회 발전에 실질적인 기여를 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

포항지역에는 약 8만 명의 해병대 출신이 거주하고 있으며, 전우회는 회원 확대 활동을 통해 조직 활성화와 지역 내 역할 강화를 추진할 계획이다.
