세종시교육청과 대한결핵협회 대전세종충남지부는 10일 시교육청 부교육감실에서 크리스마스 씰 증정식을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 구연희 교육감 권한대행을 비롯한 대한결핵협회 대전세종충남지부 오근영 본부장, 최명천 팀장 등 양 기관 관계자 7명이 참석했다.
증정식에서 대한결핵협회 대전세종충남지부는 세종시교육청에 크리스마스 씰을 전달했으며, 세종시교육청은 이에 대한 감사의 뜻을 담아 결핵퇴치성금 100만 원을 기탁했다.
크리스마스 씰 모금액은 학생, 취약계층, 군인 등을 위한 결핵검진 사업, 학생 결핵환자 지원 사업, 결핵 인식개선을 위한 각종 홍보사업 등에 사용될 예정이다.
구연희 교육감 권한대행은 “대한결핵협회의 노고에 감사드린다.”며,“크리스마스 씰 모금 참여로 국가결핵퇴치사업의 취지 및 모급사업의 필요성을 알리고, 결핵 없는 세상을 향해 한 걸음씩 나아갈 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
한편, 2025년 크리스마스 씰의 배경은 지난해에 이어 온 국민이 즐길 수 있는 애니메이션 “브레드이발소”로 크리스마스 씰로 재탄생한 브레드이발소가 서로를 생각하는 따뜻한 마음을 전하면서 결핵 없는 자유로운 세상을 향해 한 걸음 더 나아가고자 제작됐다.
