한국원자력환경공단, 지역 185가구에 월동용품 지원

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)은 10일 사단법인 천년미래포럼과 함께 경주시 일원에서 ‘2025년 따뜻한 겨울나기 사랑나눔’ 행사를 진행했다.

이날 행사에는 조성돈 공단 이사장, 김은호 천년미래포럼 이사장, 양철갑 iM뱅크 경주시영업부 부장 등 관계자와 공단 청정누리봉사단, 지역 자원봉사자 등 110여 명이 참여했다.

참여자들은 정부 지원을 받지 못하거나 지원이 부족한 취약계층 185가구를 직접 방문해 연탄과 쌀, 휴지 등 월동용품 및 생필품을 전달했다.

공단은 2010년부터 임직원들이 자발적으로 조성한 사회공헌기금을 기반으로 연탄 나눔, 주거환경 개선 등 꾸준한 사회공헌 활동을 이어오고 있다.

조성돈 이사장은 “난방비 부담으로 어려움을 겪는 주민들이 조금이나마 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역과 함께하는 나눔 활동을 지속하겠다”고 말했다.

Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (KORIA) Provides Winter Supplies to 185 Local Households… Hosts "Warm Winter" Event

KORIA (Chairman Cho Sung-don) and the Millennium Future Forum held the "2025 Warm Winter Sharing Love" event in Gyeongju City on the 10th.

Approximately 110 people attended the event, including KORIA Chairman Cho Sung-don, Millennium Future Forum Chairman Kim Eun-ho, iM Bank Gyeongju City Sales Manager Yang Cheol-gap, KORIA's Clean World Volunteer Group, and local volunteers.

Participants visited 185 vulnerable households who were either unable to receive government support or lacked it, delivering winter supplies and daily necessities such as coal briquettes, rice, and toilet paper.

Since 2010, KORIA has been consistently engaged in social contribution activities, including coal briquette sharing and housing environment improvement, based on a social contribution fund voluntarily raised by employees.

Chairman Jo Seong-don said, “I hope that residents who are struggling with the burden of heating costs can have a slightly warmer winter,” and added, “We will continue to engage in sharing activities with the local community in the future.”
