【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구의 IT·SW 업계와 산·학·연·관이 한 해를 마무리하며 한자리에 모였다.
지난 10일 오후, 대구 수성구 만촌동 호텔인터불고 대구에서 열린 ‘2025 지역 IT·SW 기업 성과교류회 및 대경ICT인의 밤’이 성황리에 막을 내렸다.
이번 행사에는 (사)대경ICT산업협회 최종태 회장과 역대 회장단, 홍성주 대구시 경제부시장, 주호영 국회부의장, 전 홍의락 국회의원, 허소 더불어민주당 대구시당 위원장 등 주요 인사가 참석했다.
이 밖에도 대구디지털혁신진흥원, 대구테크노파크, 경북테크노파크, 한국로봇산업진흥원, 대구경북경제자유구역청, 대구상공회의소 등 유관 기관과 대학, IT·SW 기업 관계자들이 대거 자리를 함께해 역대 최대 규모로 진행됐다.
행사는 1부와 2부로 나뉘어 진행됐다. 1부에서는 ‘2026년 주요 산업 지원 정책’ 소개 및 신산업 전환에 대응하기 위한 산업 전망 발표가 이뤄졌다. 정책에서 기술, 산업의 흐름까지 한눈에 볼 수 있어 현장에서는 “내년 사업 준비에 실질적인 도움이 됐다”는 반응이 이어졌다.
2부에서는 주요 내빈의 인사말과 함께 올해 지역 IT·CT 산업의 주요 성과 및 협력 사례가 영상으로 소개됐다. 이어진 네트워킹 시간에는 기업과 기관 관계자들이 명함을 교환하고, 공동사업 및 기술 연계, 인재 교류 등 다양한 주제로 의견을 나누며 협력의 폭을 넓혔다.
ICT 산업 발전에 기여한 기관과 기업에 대한 시상도 이어졌다. 대구시장상, 국회의원상, 기관장상, 협회장 표창 등이 수여됐으며, 특히 주호영 국회의원, 허소 시당위원장, 김대권 수성구청장은 수성알파시티 및 지역 ICT 산업 발전에 기여한 공로로 감사패를 받았다.
홍성주 대구시 경제부시장은 “대경권 ICT 산업의 잠재력은 앞으로 더욱 커질 것"이라며 "현장의 목소리를 정책에 적극 반영해 산업 전환에 속도를 내겠다”고 밝혔다.
최종태 회장 역시 “오늘 자리가 2025년을 돌아보는 자리가 아니라, 2026년을 준비하는 출발점이 되길 바란다”며 “협회가 지역 ICT 생태계의 연결과 지원 중심축으로 역할을 강화하겠다”고 강조했다.
민정기 대구디지털혁신진흥원장은 “데이터와 AI가 산업 구조를 빠르게 바꾸고 있다”며 “기관 간 연계를 강화해 지역 기업이 더 크게 성장할 수 있도록 돕겠다”고 말했다.

On the afternoon of the 10th, the "2025 Regional IT and Software Business Performance Exchange and Daegyeong ICT Night" held at Hotel Inter-Burgo Daegu in Manchon-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, concluded successfully.
The event was attended by key figures, including Chairman Choi Jong-tae of the Daegyeong ICT Industry Association and past chairmen, Hong Seong-ju, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Daegu City, Joo Ho-young, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, former National Assemblyman Hong Eui-rak, and Heo So, Chairman of the Daegu City Chapter of the Democratic Party of Korea.
Additionally, representatives from related organizations, including the Daegu Digital Innovation Agency, Daegu Technopark, Gyeongbuk Technopark, Korea Robot Industry Advancement Agency, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority, and the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as universities and IT and software companies, made it the largest event ever.
The event was divided into two parts. The first part introduced the "2026 Key Industry Support Policies" and presented an industry outlook to address the shift to new industries. The comprehensive overview of policies, technologies, and industry trends drew widespread feedback from attendees, who noted that it was "practically helpful in preparing for next year's projects."
The second part featured opening remarks from key guests, along with a video presentation highlighting key achievements and collaborations in the local IT and CT industry this year. During the networking session that followed, representatives from companies and organizations exchanged business cards and discussed various topics, including joint projects, technology collaborations, and talent exchanges, broadening the scope of cooperation.
Awards were also presented to organizations and companies that contributed to the development of the ICT industry. Awards included the Daegu Mayor's Award, the National Assembly Member's Award, the Head of the Institution Award, and the Association President's Citation. National Assembly Member Joo Ho-young, City Party Chairman Heo So, and Suseong District Mayor Kim Dae-kwon received plaques of appreciation for their contributions to the development of Suseong Alpha City and the local ICT industry.
Hong Seong-ju, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Daegu City, stated, "The potential of the ICT industry in the Daegu-Gyeonggi region will only grow further," and added, "We will actively incorporate the voices of the field into our policies to accelerate the industrial transformation."
Chairman Choi Jong-tae also emphasized, "I hope today's event is not a time to look back on 2025, but rather a starting point for preparing for 2026." He added, "The association will strengthen its role as a central hub for connecting and supporting the regional ICT ecosystem."
Min Jeong-gi, President of the Daegu Digital Innovation Promotion Agency, stated, "Data and AI are rapidly transforming the industrial structure. We will strengthen inter-agency collaboration to support the further growth of local companies."
