세종특별자치시교육청이 내년도 학교회계 운영 방향을 현장에 구체적으로 알리고, 투명한 예산 집행 문화를 확산하기 위한 자리를 마련했다.
이를 위해 세종시교육청은 11일 오후 2시 세종시교육원 대강당에서 관내 학교 행정실장을 대상으로 ‘2026학년도 학교회계 예산편성 및 집행지침 설명회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 설명회는 최근 축소된 지방교육재정을 반영해 변화된 재정 운용 기준을 명확히 제시하고, 낭비성·선심성 예산 집행을 예방해 공정하고 책임 있는 재정질서를 확립하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
특히 올해 지침의 가장 큰 변화는 ‘낭비성 예산집행 금지 기준 강화’다. 세종시교육청은 이를 통해 학교 현장에서 반복적으로 발생하는 부적정 집행 사례를 사전에 차단하고, 자율적 내부통제를 강화하는 계기로 삼겠다는 방침이다.
