【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(한수원)은 12일 서울 중림동 쪽방촌에서 ‘2025년도 e-안심하우스’ 사업 준공식을 열고 올해 에너지 취약계층 주거환경 개선 사업의 성과를 공개했다.

e-안심하우스는 단열 보강, 창호 교체, 바닥 공사, 노후 보일러 교체, LED 조명 설치 등 에너지 효율을 높이기 위한 주택 개선 사업으로, 난방비 부담 경감과 생활환경 개선을 목표로 한수원이 중점 추진해 온 대표 사회공헌 프로그램이다. 한수원은 이날 준공한 중림동 9세대를 포함해 올해 총 342가구와 14개 복지시설의 에너지 환경을 개선했다.
한수원은 2023년부터 한국에너지재단, 한국에너지기술연구원과 협력해 본 사업을 확대해 왔으며, 지난 3년간 총 52억 원을 투입해 904가구와 28개 복지시설의 주거 에너지 효율을 높였다. 특히 정부의 주거 취약계층 지원 국정과제와 연계해 지원 대상을 발전소 주변 지역에서 쪽방촌과 고위험 취약 가구로까지 확대한 점이 큰 성과로 평가된다. 이를 통해 복지 사각지대에 놓인 주민들의 ‘에너지 빈곤’ 문제 해소 기반을 다졌다는 설명이다.
