【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군은 올해 제2회 추가경정예산안을 총 9,897억 원 규모로 편성해 지난 12일 군의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.

이번 추경예산은 제1회 추가경정예산 대비 1,147억 원(13.11%) 증가한 규모로, 일반회계는 9,597억 원으로 1,155억 원(13.68%) 늘어난 반면 특별회계는 300억 원으로 8억 원(2.5%) 감소했다.
특히 이번 예산은 역대 최대 규모로, 지난해 최종예산 6,748억 원보다 46% 증가했으며, 2022년 예산 6,649억 원과 비교해도 3,248억 원이 늘어난 수치다.
군은 산불 관련 국·도비 보조사업과 특별교부세가 대폭 확대되고, 주요 기반시설 조성과 현안 사업 반영이 증가한 점이 이번 정리추경 확대의 주요 배경이라고 설명했다.
주요 국·도비 보조사업으로는 △산림 재해대책비(위험목 제거) 232억3천만 원 △송이 대체작물 조성사업 109억4천만 원 △도시재생사업(특별재생) 50억 원 △산불지역 마을단위 복구재생사업 45억 원 등이 편성돼 산불 피해 극복과 재해·안전 인프라 강화에 집중했다.
이와 함께 △강구(구)교 재해위험지구 정비사업 93억9천만 원 △수산물 산지 거점 유통센터(FPC) 조성 16억8천만 원 △지역사랑상품권 발행지원 16억5천만 원 △매입임대주택 공급지원(저출생 대응) 14억5천만 원 등 생활SOC 확충과 정주 여건 개선을 위한 주민 체감형 사업에도 재정이 투입됐다.
또한 자체 사업으로 △영덕시장 재건축공사 4억7천만 원 △축산 블루시티 조성사업 2억 원 등을 편성해 주요 현안 사업이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 했다.
영덕군 관계자는 “이번 추경예산은 산불 피해 극복과 지역경제 활성화에 중점을 둔 것”이라며 “군민 생활과 직결되는 사업을 차질 없이 마무리하고, 군민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 지속적으로 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Additionally, funding was allocated to projects that benefit residents and enhance their living conditions, including KRW 9.39 billion for the Ganggu (old) Bridge disaster risk area improvement project, KRW 1.68 billion for the establishment of a Fisheries Product Distribution Center (FPC), KRW 1.65 billion for the issuance of local gift certificates, and KRW 1.45 billion for support for the supply of purchased rental housing (to address the low birth rate).
Furthermore, funds were allocated for independent projects, including KRW 470 million for the Yeongdeok Market reconstruction project and KRW 200 million for the Livestock Blue City development project, ensuring the smooth progress of key projects.
A Yeongdeok County official stated, "This supplementary budget focuses on overcoming wildfire damage and revitalizing the local economy. We will ensure the smooth completion of projects directly related to the lives of residents and continue to produce tangible results."
