대구 중구, 가족친화 우수기관 재인증 쾌거

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 여성가족부 주관 ‘가족친화 인증기관’ 재인증에 성공했다. 중구는 2014년 첫 인증을 받은 이후 지금까지 끊임없이 자격을 유지해오고 있다.  

가족친화 인증은 자녀 출산이나 양육 지원, 가족친화적인 직장문화 조성, 탄력근무제, 직원 만족도 등 4개 분야의 14개 항목을 평가해 부여되는 제도다. 

중구는 이번 심사에서 평균 점수(86.6점)를 크게 웃도는 99.4점을 받아, 가족친화 우수기관의 위상을 다시금 확인했다.

중구청은 직원들이 출산과 육아 관련 제도를 자유롭게 이용할 수 있도록 근무환경을 지속적으로 개선해왔다. 

또한, 부모직장 체험 프로그램, 가족 캠프닉, 지역 관광지 체험처럼 가족이 함께할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 운영하며 일과 가정의 조화를 적극 지원해왔다.  

류규하 중구청장은 “일과 가정의 균형은 직원 만족도를 넘어, 지역사회 전반에 가족친화 문화를 확산시키는 밑거름이 된다”며 “앞으로도 직원과 주민 모두가 체감할 수 있는 정책들을 계속 펼쳐나가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu's Jung-gu District Office has successfully been re-certified as a "Family-Friendly Certified Organization" by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. Since first receiving the certification in 2014, Jung-gu has consistently maintained its status.

The Family-Friendly Certification is awarded based on an evaluation of 14 criteria across four areas: childbirth and childcare support, fostering a family-friendly workplace culture, flexible work hours, and employee satisfaction.

Jung-gu received a score of 99.4, significantly exceeding the average score of 86.6, reaffirming its status as an excellent family-friendly organization.

Jung-gu Office has continuously improved its work environment to ensure employees can freely utilize childbirth and childcare-related policies.

Furthermore, it actively supports work-life balance by operating various programs for families, such as parent-work experience programs, family camps, and local tourist attractions.

Jung-gu District Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha said, “Work-life balance goes beyond employee satisfaction and serves as the foundation for spreading a family-friendly culture throughout the community,” adding, “We will continue to implement policies that both employees and residents can experience.”
