【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구보건소가 AI(인공지능) 기반 어르신 건강관리 사업에서 2년 연속 우수기관에 선정됐다.
대구시가 지난 11일 주관한 ‘2025년 AI 기반 어르신 건강관리사업 운영 평가’ 시상식에서, 중구보건소는 우수기관상을 수상했다. 지난해 우수상에 이은 수상으로, 2년 연속 뛰어난 성과를 거뒀다.
이번 평가는 대구지역 9개 구·군을 대상으로 AI를 활용한 어르신 건강증진 등록관리 실적과 사업 운영의 적극성, 독창성과 효과성, 그리고 지역자원 연계·협력 수준까지 종합적으로 이뤄졌다.
중구보건소는 지역 내 고령화에 대응해 대면과 비대면을 아우르는 통합 어르신 건강관리 체계를 구축했다. 또, 신체활동 실천 강화로 노쇠 예방에 힘쓰는 등 어르신 건강 수준 향상에 기여한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 비대면 건강관리의 한계를 극복하기 위해 지역 거점별 건강클럽 8개 팀을 운영하고, 디지털 활용 능력 향상을 위한 ICT 교육도 진행했다. 여기에 건강 미션 프로그램을 도입해 어르신들의 신체활동을 유도하는 등 적극적으로 참여와 호응을 이끌어냈다.
황석선 중구보건소장은 “이번 수상은 지역자원을 바탕으로 대면과 비대면을 두루 강화해 온 노력의 결과”라며, “앞으로도 어르신들이 건강하고 활기찬 일상을 누릴 수 있도록 실질적인 건강관리 서비스를 이어나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
